Ingendi started because the knitwear market is full of extremes: cashmere at designer prices, or synthetic 'knits' that pill within two wears. We wanted the middle ground — proper yarn blends, considered cuts, finishing that doesn't fall apart. Each season we add 8-10 pieces across merino, lambswool, and cashmere blends, then we wear them through the season to see what lasts.
What we stand for
Every piece we carry is chosen with care. We're not interested in stocking thousands of styles — we want a tight edit that works hard, travels well, and earns a place in your wardrobe. That means breathable fabrics, considered cuts, and prints we'd happily wear ourselves.
Small brand, considered choices
Ingendi is run by a small team. Our catalogue changes slowly on purpose — we'd rather get a handful of pieces right than flood the site with options. That approach means every style is one we've reviewed, photographed, and genuinely believe in.
Made to last, kindly
We think carefully about the pieces we source. Where possible we prioritise fabrics that feel good on the skin and silhouettes that flatter without being fussy. If something doesn't feel right, we don't list it.
